Each year our students have the opportunity to perform in the beautiful Regent on Broadway.
We do two performances maximizing the enjoyment of being on stage for our dancers and audience members- many of whom come twice to take in all that the shows involve.
Photos and videos are a great souvenir for anyone who performed or saw the show. For the rest of you we recommend experiencing the magic first hand.
Be sure to get a ticket for this years show or better still, we would love you to be part of our next cast!
From a fan of our boys...
"For the last three years I have been coming down from Hamilton to watch your show....I love the way you have encouraged all those young boys to relish expressing themselves to music, so often dance schools are dominated by girls and I really enjoy seeing full participation by boys of all ages" - Christine
Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed the performance. It is obvious how much impact you have on so many peoples lives. My husband described you as a 'hero of our community' a great compliment as he does not have the appreciation of the arts that I do. Thankyou for allowing our daughter to be part of it, they all should feel privileged. You obviously bring a great deal to the Manawatu - David and Tina
I just wanted to congratulate you all on another great show. The
energy, enthusiasm and love for dance that all students had really
showed through with great flow throughout the entire show.
As a parent, I really appreciate the realistic show preparation that
goes into your performances - your understanding that people have
work, other commitments, and other family members to deal with and
that our lives do not completely stop around dance performance time is
much appreciated. This is really brought to home when I hear of the
dramas at other dance school production times.
I also love the fact that your shows are all about everyone shining on
the stage no matter how good they are at dance. It is about the love
for dance and you are so accepting of everyone and the fact that
things aren't always perfect makes the shows even more enjoyable for
the audience. I was fortunate to be in the wings when you presented
the new heart award and was thrilled to see Lucy receive this - I
don't even know her and it brought a tear to my eye.
Well done on achieving 25 years. I know that during those years you
would have given thousands of students fun, friendship and a lifelong
love for dance. Keep up the great work.
